Life has come to a stand-still in Chennai. Torrential downpour, flooding and a death toll crossing the 180 mark has become the new order of the day. According to the MET department the worst is yet not over. However, the city has emerged as a fighter, with people going out of their way to help each other. Inviting stranded strangers with open arms into their homes to share food, provide shelter and generously make both cash and in-kind donations. We truly admire Chennai’s spirit.
