India accounts for the highest number of undernourished and hungry people in any single country, with an estimated 194.6 million, or about one in every four such people in the world according to the report “State of Food Security in the World 2015”, released by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) earlier this year. Globally, one out of every nine people do not get enough nutritious food to eat every day. Hunger is one of the biggest problems in the world, and as we mark #WorldFoodDay today, we at Impact Guru are supporting a global movement to eliminate hunger by 2030. One Future, #ZeroHunger is a new drive to mobilise the global community to pull together and achieve the goal of Zero Hunger over the next decade and a half.
